Umicore Oxyde Belgium
The plant is located in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, since 1983.
This zero waste process has a capacity of well over 30.000 MT of sintered zinc oxide, produced by a rotary calcinating furnace, used in the sister plant of Eijsden, Nl, for the production of direct zinc oxide or for animal feed products.
The plant is a recognized pre-authorised facility for the treatment of zinc fines/zinc skimmings generated by the galvanizing industry.
