Larvik, Norway
Umicore Norway is located at Larvik, a small harbour city on the southern coast of Norway, about 130 km south-west of Oslo.
The plant was started in 1949.
It processes secondary zinc utilizing Larvik distillation technology to produce zinc powder and zinc oxide, primarily for paint markets in Europe. Annual capacity of the plant is 12.000 tonnes.
It is a quality approved supplier to all the leading European paint manufacturers.
