Umicore Zinc Chemicals is also the worlds leader in the applications of Fine Zinc Powders, and investing a significant amount of euros in R&D every year to develop new products.

In our R&D center, we are able to test directly our new products in commercial paint formulations.

Umicore Zinc Chemicals also collaborates with several univerties to develop new ideas, which can be applied by our customers.

Umicore is also working actively on the optimization of size, shape and composition of the zinc powder, in order to further increase its range of zinc powders grades and their performances. Recently the nano zinc powder NOZIP®  as well as the ZAMP® alloyed zinc powders have been developed specific applications;
